Permutation is our experimental series of small batch offerings, showcasing the unique visions and innovative concepts developed by our production crew. The names are sequential, reflecting the brewing year in Trillium's lifespan, followed by a recipe indicator.
For Permutation 7.06, we took the approach and techniques utilized with our Mettle Alloy series of hoppy beers and applied them to a variety of cellared Imperial Stouts with complementary profiles. Presenting a deep black appearance with cocoa-powdered highlights, the aroma offers an array of complex confectionery notes. Layers of thick fudge, toasted almond, dark roast coffee, and creamy vanilla are immediately apparent. As the glass warms, figgy, dark fruit undertones greet the palate. Full-bodied, mouthcoating, and slightly warming, Permutation 7.06 is an intricate entry to our experimental lineup.
