This SAIA-BURGESS XGO42-88 micro-switch is the trigger that senses doser lever activation and fires the grind-on-demand cycle. It's a widely used component found across several grinder brands, not just one manufacturer's dosers.

INSTALLATION
Moderate - basic electrical skills needed to identify and re-terminate the switch leads correctly; a technician is recommended if you're not comfortable working around line voltage.
PRO TIPS
- If the grinder won't fire when the doser lever is pulled, test this switch for continuity before condemning the motor relay or capacitor - a dead micro-switch is one of the most common no-grind complaints on doser grinders.
- Match the terminal wiring exactly before disconnecting the old switch (photograph it first) since XGO42-88 switches are used with slightly different wiring layouts across brands.
